New MOON

Is it really November???
So I have either been way busy or way lazy....
The month of October came and went in a flash. I can't believe it is November. Where is all the time going. Not much of a change in our house hold just plucking away day by day. The girls are still very busy with soccer....Alex 5 days a week and Kiara 3 days a week. Kiara just finished her golf lesson and really enjoyed it :) Now she is starting basketball. A new sport for her so we are very excited. Alex has a rough three weeks, but hopefully that is past us and we won't have to re-live that whole disaster!!!! She is growing so fast and before I know it she will be off on her own. I have attached some pics from the last month...:)

Jackson Hole
This past weekend Kiara had a soccer tournament in WY and the girls and I had a girls only weekend. Rhett went hunting/camping with his Dad and Brother's. Kiara was very upset her daddy was not going to make the trip, but when we arrived in WY we found out our good friends from medical school were there and then her little team won the tourny so all was well after all :)
Alex also had Homecoming the week prior so I added some of those pics as well.

WELL….WHAT DO YOU KNOW….RHETT AND I ARE OLD!!!
What a week and it is only Wednesday! The girls stared school, we are full swing into soccer, I am working, Rhett is working, oh and Alex got her license :)
Yes it is true; I have a 16 year old with a drivers license. She got her drivers license today just one month and one day late. (Not so shabby for doing all her student driving and testing in another state) I was so worried all day sending my baby on her own in my car in the city, but she did great and I must say….there are some very positive sides to this arrangement. Tonight Rhett and I were busy cooking dinner (stuffed zucchini) and Alex went to get Kiara from soccer…SWEET!!!! The picture below is while we were setting on the porch swing waiting for them to get home for dinner….so dang cute
1ST DAY OF SCHOOL...Sloane, Kiara & Sage
Oh yes...we have to read, we need to get in as much reading as possible before school!!!
Alex is not so happy to be taking pictures on the lawn on the first day....I guess it is NOT COOL!

This week/ month is a blur, but with it nearing an end we have actually accomplished a few things :) Rhett and I got the fence re-stained, we are continuing to nurse our lawn back to health and we finished painting the downstairs (all that is left if Kiara’s room upstairs). Rhett started his JOB so now all that’s left is for the girls to start school on Tuesday and then summer will be officially over.
First week of work for Rhett was pretty good. He had two clinic days booked a few cases and did a wash out his first day! :) Not so shabby!!!
Alex has her drivers test on Wednesday at 10:00 and then it will be official, she will have her license. I can’t believe she is that old. She is also two weeks into her junior year of high school soccer and is still trying to figure out her new team and the new position they are having her play (defensive center).
Kiara really misses NC and I am hoping she will snap out of it. She played a game on Saturday (they played the boys team and got killed) Not so fun and she is not even close to the same player she was in NC, but I think she just needs some time to adjust to her new coach. She really misses Natasha and her old team :( However, Sloane is in her class so things have to start looking up!

wow....what a month
WELCOME HOME....right? We made it home to Utah and jump head first into life. Alex is back in soccer. Kiara has already had a soccer tournament and won, Rhett is almost ready to start his practice and I went to work two days after we landed. OK, I should have taken time off, but our house is such a disaster that I didn't want to have my work life to be crazy so I think/hope I took the lesser of two evils....time will tell.
Happy 16th birthday Alex!!! Rhett and I are still shocked to think our baby is sixteen. Is that really possible??? :)
Kiara misses her friend Natasha so much and we are very excited for school to start in hopes she will get back to herself. She is pretty sad and all she wants to do is read.
It is good to be back and we miss our friends in NC, but are moving forward with our life back in Utah.

Ok, so it is July and we are gearing up to move back to Utah. Alex is already home and keeping very busy (thanks Cheri, Kara, & Richard) We have had a disaster with our house and I am so upset about it, that I can't even talk about it. ;( However, life could always be worse so I am TRYING to look on the bright side. I have been so stressed out (cold sore and all) but I am just going to roll with the punches!
Rhett and I went to Boston last week and had a really nice time. Boston is beautiful and the weather was a nice change. I do need to congratulate Rhett we attended our finally graduation dinner. ☺ I still can’t believe we are almost done with this chapter…it is hard to believe he will finally be done with school and training.
Thursday we spent the day down at Wrightsville and oh how I/we love the beach! We had a really good time. I was so worried Kiara would be bored without her sister, but she was such a sport and played the whole time in the ocean. She had a blast! She has also been on another marathon book reading contest. I have begged her to read this new series and she was not at all interested, but I finally just bought them and she read all five in a week. To some that is awesome, but it gets very old when all you see her doing is reading :)
For the 4th we spent the day with the Turner family and had a very good time….WE WILL MISS THEM SO MUCH!!!!
Rhett has been a huge help this week as well....he has even helped me wash the walls! 17 days and we will be back home....it is a bittersweet moment, but one we are starting to pack for!
