Graduation 2008-Orthopedic Residency

Residency Graduation~~June 13, 2008
One more stepping stone behind us. :) Rhett completted his five year Orthopedic Residency with the University of Utah on Friday night. His last day will be Friday June 20th. :) It has been a long but exciting journey and we are experiencing a very surreal feeling as we move forward to our next adventure in North Carolina. It is hard to believe in one more year we will be finished with our medical training :)

HELLO ALL :) We are getting ready to move from Salt Lake City to North Carolina so Rhett can finally finish his medical training. Rhett has been accepted to Duke Medical Center for an Adult Reconstruction fellowship. Rhett will graduate from the University of Utah Orthopaedics department on June 13, 2008 with his last day here being June 20th. It has been an awesome experience and we have meet some amazing people along they way. We are SO going to miss the UUOC and all the people we associate with daily. Alex is just finishing her Freshman year at Judge Memorial Catholic High School and what a year she has had. First she made the squad team (JV/Varsity) for her soccer team and they went all the way to the state championship. Second she randomly joined the Cross Country team where she took 5th place and they tied for 1st in the Championship. Lastly she plays soccer all spring with her team placing second in division 1 and having our best state cup showing with two ties and one loss. As well as keeping up with her soccer team she was on the Judge High Track team where they took state and she got her best time in the two mile ending her Freshman year with a 11:55. So...long story short two state championship rings and two 2nd place finishes. Now we need to work on our grades a little and we are perfect :) Alex also has been selected to play on soccer team heading to Europe this summer to compete in the Gothica cup. She is very excited and we are very jealous we are not going....
